Dr Tasneem Vally (MBChB), is a General Physician with more than 7 years experience in clinical research. She has been part of the team of Investigators since 2006 and distinguished herself as Principal and Sub-investigator and dispensing physician in more than 30 international clinical studies in a wide variety of therapeutic areas. As Principal investigator, she has had numerous sponsor and regulatory audits from sponsors and the responses have been exemplary. In 2010 Dr Vally was appointed as Senior Research Physician at Synexus SA Watermeyer Clinical Research Centre in Pretoria. Dr Vally obtained her MBChB degree from University of Witwatersrand in 1991. Prior to her involvement in clinical research, she worked as a general practitioner in Laudium.
Dr Boitumelo Sebopa is a General Physician and has participated in clinical research since 2009. She was appointed as full-time Principal Investigator/Dispensing Physician at the Synexus Stanza Bopape Clinical Research Centre, Mamelodi, in February 2011. She has distinguished herself as Sub-Investigator on more than 10 studies including HIV/AIDS trials. Dr. Sebopa obtained her MBChB degree from the Medical University of Southern Africa (Medunsa) in 2003. Prior to her involvement in clinical research, she worked as a Medical Officer in the public sector at the Stanza Bopape Community Health Clinic.
Dr.Marianne Viljoen (MBChB, DCh), is a General Physician and has joined Synexus Watermeyer Clinical Research Centre in Pretoria full-time in 2010. She has distinguished herself as Principal Investigator and Sub-investigator on 20 international trials in various therapy areas. Dr Viljoen obtained her MBChB degree from University of Pretoria in 1997 and the DCh(SA) in 1999. Prior to her involvement in clinical research, she worked as a general practitioner in Pretoria.
Dr Margaré du Toit (MBChB), is a General Physician with qualifications in Advanced Medical, Cardiac and Trauma Life Support and has joined Synexus Watermeyer Clinical Research Centre in Pretoria in 2010. She has distinguished herself as Principal and Sub-Investigator on 20 international trials in various therapy areas. Dr du Toit obtained her MBChB degree from University of Bloemfontein in 1997. Prior to her involvement in clinical research, she worked as a Medical Officer in hospitals in the UK, South Africa and New Zealand in different clinical fields as well as for International SOS on remote sites. She continues to do locum sessions at Casualty and GP practices.
