Brief History of Synexus SA
August 2000: Established as CRC SA (Pty) Ltd as first private SMO in South Africa to conduct Phase 2-3 studies
August 2002: Established Phase 1 clinic
June 2005: CRC SA takes lead in the Rota Consortium
December 2005: Joint venture with Adcock Ingram to expand Phase 1 unit and established AddClin Research (for Ph 1 BE/BA studies).
March 2007: CRC SA acquired by Synexus Ltd, UK.
September 2008: Changed name to Synexus Clinical Research SA (Pty) Ltd
May 2011: Synexus sold its share in AddClin Research (Pty) Ltd.
The company now focuses mainly on Phase 2-4 studies, but retained the expertise to conduct in-patient visits when required.
